On another thread this idea was suggested we make all KCS equal. Maybe we should talk about how we get to the point of "equal" schools. What are some basic ideas that can be implemented (soon) to begin raising the bar? As a parent what would you change at your child's school to benefit all students? What as a parent is of the utmost importance to better your child's school.

Farragut is not the only overcrowded school, nor the only area with high property taxes. I pay city and county taxes for my children to attend class in portables. It's not just Farragut and it's not just zoning. It's not having enough funding for enough schools.
It's the number of AP courses offered at each high school that differs. Its dramatically different, but I can't find the past N-S story that provides these figures. Does anyone know the breakdown?
