U.S. Cellular next week kicks off a campaign that gives 10 schools nationwide a chance to win $100,000 apiece.

The second annual Calling All Communities program runs Nov. 13 through Jan. 15, 2010, and allows community members to vote for their school.

Last year, two area schools, Bearden High School in Knoxville and Heritage High School in Blount County, picked up the awards and used the money for items ranging from technology upgrades to band instruments and equipment.
