- My two sons currently attend Farragut Schools in Knox County. I am a member of Farragut Presbyterian Church, an Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 444 in Farragut, and like to be involved in the community in which I live. My wife, LaQuita, is very involved in the community. We moved to Knoxville in 2003 from an outstanding school district in Owasso Ok., a suburb of Tulsa.

School Start Times
It's that time of year again when I start seeing elementary aged kids waiting on the bus in the dark. This has to be a concern for every parent in Knox County.
What can be done? We could shift the schedules so that High School students get up earlier and grade school students are sent off later.
