Well there is one thing I agree with you on.
I would also like to point out that the smallpox vaccination IS still given out. My s/o who shares my bed is 26 years old and has a smallpox scar on his arm. He got the vaccination within the last 6 years.

I don't see any difference in exposing your child to these risks versus vaccinations. Whether or not they eat it, snort it or take it intravenously. Then again, I am not a doctor or a scientist
