Third Grade: First Day at First Lutheran

Picked Jacob up at 3:15. We would have walked the two blocks home, except for the heat. Just walking outside and I am drenched. Maybe we can walk home tomorrow.


"How was school?" "Awesome, Dad. I feel older. taller."


Awesome? From an almost 9 year old? Thirteen kids in the class, all the same as last year. Mr. Tim Holste, the third grade teacher, also mentors kids at Sylvan Learning Center. He also teaches 3rd-5th grade choir as well. I believe we have a new Spanish teacher this
