Most children don't have the maturity for a preschool before the age of three. That doesn't give parents very much time home with their child, but by age three children really crave their peers.

My question of the day - is it ever too early to begin a child's formal education? When do we take our child out of daycare and put him into a more structured learning environment?

I am the mother of an almost 2 year old and am the manager of Knoxmoms.com. Looking towards the days where my little one will be entering school, it's important to me to make informed choices about the direction of his enducation and be sure he's well equipped to do well and acheive success.
